The filter material represents the heart of the details of our production. For this reason we put the most meticulous care in the selection of suppliers first and then of the materials themselves: the continuous search for the most reliable solutions with the most suitable characteristics to work in the various areas of use leads us to collaborate with the best international suppliers present on the market.

The characteristics and performance checks are constantly monitored by our technicians at the factory, where specific test set-ups are prepared: the behaviour of both complete filters and the filtering elements in the same real operating conditions are highlighted to verify the correspondence to the required specifications.

The many years of collaboration with leading filter material manufacturers allows Sofin to be constantly updated on the evolution of technologies and markets and offers its customers the availability of the most sophisticated filtering materials.

Various filter materials intended for different fields of use are currently in use, synthetic materials such as non-woven fabric in Polyester, PET, PP, NY, PA, GoreTex, PTFE, etc., as well as metallic and synthetic filtering nets.

Every other material used is the result of careful evaluation and chosen according to the highest expectations of our customers; galvanised sheets, in stainless steel, adhesives, gaskets in various materials, and more, all complying with current environmental regulations and the use of products. For this reason, we are certified by organisations such as BGIA, FDA, BAM or other specific reference standards for the articles that require it.
